Bai Engineers, LLC was established on March 2014 by Mr. Xuehua Bai, PE, BCEE. From its inception, Bai Engineers has been committed to providing water technologies and services to small communities throughout the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions.
As a premier provider in water/wastewater services for small communities across the Front Range and Midwest regions, our team is committed to providing innovative and lasting solutions for our clients in four specialties:
  • Water, wastewater and stormwater system hydraulic modeling and master plan: Our hydraulic team can build a GIS-based, all-pipe extended period simulation mode for a wide range of systems.
  •  Turnkey services in small water filtration system with the plant capacity of 100 gallon per minute (gpm) or less: The untreated water sources can be surface, groundwater, and even produced water from oil/gas wellhead. We use our pilot-test unit to proof our innovative concept before the system is built. We have two membrane test units, eight 8-inch in diameter filtration columns, and lab analysis tools. We are working on using electrocoagulation for iron, manganese, and salt water removal and reduction.
  • Turnkey services in small wastewater treatment system with the plant capacity of 100 gpm or less: The effluent (treated) water can be discharged to public water body, or privately-owned reuse reservoir. We use biological wastewater treatment process modeling result (BIOWIN) for filing the plant design review with governing agencies. Our most-preferred packaged unit process is the extended aeration.
  • Small (750 gpm or less) water and wastewater treatment operation: We have licensed water and wastewater treatment operators. We can provide treatment operation and operation optimization and training.
Bai Engineers is certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and is listed on the Colorado Unified Certification Program's online directory (www.coloradoodbe.org). Bai Engineers is also certified as a SBE firm by the Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver.
In addition, Bai Engineers is the pre-qualified Architect/Engineer firm issued by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) that can practice in the following specialties:
  • Civil Engineering (CE)
  • Hydraulics (HY)
  • Sanitary Engineering (SA)
Currently, Bai Engineers holds the Master Pricing Agreement with CDOT.
