​Bai Engineers has registered its professional engineering services in the State of Texas and Colorado. We specialize in water-related feasibility planning, treatability pilot testing, master planning, design, and small-scale (less than 1 million gallons per day treatment capacity) water treatment system operations.

Our team includes two professional engineers, two design engineers, one GIS analysis, and one operator crew holding Class C Operator Licenses both in water and wastewater treatment.

Specifically, we provide three water-related services:

Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection System Hydraulic Modeling and Master Plan

Our water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic modeling team brings both the knowledge and capabilities in building model-ready GIS dataset and GIS-based models. We are also capable of calibrating the steady-state and extended-period simulation (EPS) model and developing EPANet-based or EPASWMM-based hydraulic model dashboard.

In addition to using open-source programs of EPANet and EPASWMM, we are advanced modelers of InfoWater and InfoSWMM, WaterGems, and SewerGems. Currently, we own the following software for hydraulic modeling projects:

• Unlimited Link InfoWater from Innovyze
• 5,000-Link InfoSWMM from Innovyze

Stormwater/floodplain Hydraulic Modeling and Master Plan

We have been providing Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMA) and Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) hydraulic and hydrology modeling since our inception. The list of CLOMA and LOMA modeling projects completed is listed below:

Water Treatability Pilot Test and Small-scale Treatment System Operation

Our water pilot testing operation is able to provide the same design roadmap for larger projects without the hassle and huge expense of larger projects. We are skilled and well-versed in treating trace metals such as iron, manganese, arsenic, selenium, and radionuclides (gross alpha, combined radium) in water sources. Furthermore, we are also possess profundity in assisting clients with Lead and Copper Rule compliance issues.

We have the following tools and equipment available for pilot testing projects:

• “Jar test” unit with various coagulants and polymers
• Six 8”-diameter multi-media filter columns that can be loaded with filter media including anthracite, granular active carbon (GAC), green-sand, etc.
• Six cartridge filters that can be tested at various filter sizes
• Two reverse osmosis (RO) pilot units
• Two Nano filtration (NF) pilot units
• Sodium hypochlorite on-site generators
